Experienced designers seeking extra work during Valentine's Day and Mother's Day weeks and for events as needed are strongly encouraged to apply. We are always seeking to grow our network of freelancers!

Responsibilities:​

• Maintain vibrant and clean store environment (clean, sweep, dust, organize, create stunning visual displays)

• Assist customers in person and over the phone

• Design flower arrangements

• Light social media management and networking

• Attend networking events with owner as needed

• Deliver orders as needed

• Walk our shop dog as needed (job perk!)

• Understand that sweeping the floor isn't beneath you

• Have working knowledge of Apple products (our owner is still learning technology, we don't have time to teach an additional person)

• Understand basic plant care (you will learn so much!)

• Enjoy designing flower arrangements 

• Experience in floral design (everyday, wedding, funeral, prom) is strongly desired but not required

• Very flexible with scheduling, funerals are unpredictable, weddings are planned in advance

• Availability to work the week leading up to Valentine's Day and Mother's Day with extra long hours as needed (Valentine's Day evening you will be done when we close, no later than 7pm, if you have a date ;)

• Saturday availability required

• Have a driver's license and possess minimal road rage (flowers are fragile) a plus if you have your own car!

• Excellent grammar and manners

• Spanish speaking/writing a huge plus!

• Genuinely want to work in a flower shop and are seeking long term growth
